Hi, I'm David Eiken. For 30 years, I have been designing and building digital media. Today, I channel this experience as a **Senior Frontend Engineer** – with an **AI-native workflow**.

Starting in print, I made the transition to the web at the turn of the millennium. I taught myself HTML and CSS – long before YouTube or suitable degree programs. As a full-stack developer, I then covered concept, design, frontend, and backend for years. This view of the whole picture is the foundation I build on today.

My drive has always been intrinsic: as a **digital pioneer**, I launched 'Technikwürze' in 2005, one of the first German podcasts, and opened it up to external experts early on. For 11 years, I gave students at HAWK the tools to build modern websites. Both taught me: the best results arise through collaboration.
